A Discovery and Discussion of Feel in
Our Riding:
MONDAY includes Hands-On,
Interactive Activities—Everyone gets to participate!
Maree will explore the concept of Feel in relation
to:
- Right Brain/ Left Brain—Which
do we use to ride?
- Horse Anatomy—How a horse
operates from the skeleton out.
- Movement—What is ideal
v. what is less ideal: video examples of both from
many different disciplines.
- Anatomy of an Aid—An example
of a conversation between a horse and rider.
- Interactive Activities--
What does it feel like to be a horse ridden by many
different riders?
- Sequencing of Transitions—
Relative to a horse’s change in balance, willingness,
and relaxation.
TUESDAY will focus on applying Monday's
activities, as well as new concepts, to:
- Long Lining & Riding Demonstrations by
selected West Winds Farm riders.
COSTS (Includes Light Refreshments):
To Participate in Monday's Interactive Seminar (2pm-6pm)

To Audit Tuesday's Activities (10am – 4pm) -- $30

a lifetime horsewoman with experience ranging from racing,
show jumping, hunters, eventing, classical dressage,
endurance, colt starting, and natural horsemanship. Her
passion is teaching Feel to
