Education
As part of our mission, CHR conducts horse management, handling, training, and riding classes for children and adults. We also offer lectures by professionals in the equine community. The objective of our education program is to provide the horse owner, prospective owner, or horse lover with the information necessary to keep them and their animals healthy, safe, and happy. We have a number of educational opportunities available to the public throughout the year in lecture, demonstration, and hands-on formats.

GUEST SPEAKERS
Equine veterinarians join us at CHR to discuss common equine health issues as well as proper equine care. Other professionals in the field come to talk about everything from saddle fitting to equine assisted psychotherapy. These talks are typically 2-3 hours on a weekday evening and a small fee is required for attendance.
