I just want to say that adopting from CHR has been an amazing experience for us. You all at the rescue were so wonderful to work with and could not have been more helpful and caring.

I know it is such an important goal to place these horses in good homes and we are very blessed to have been able to have Chance join our family. But, the most important factor in all of this for Tom and I is what this magnificent creature gives to us.

I see so much pain and suffering in my job as a Hospice Nurse. I try so hard to give love, caring and compassion to my patients and their families. There are days I come home from work feeling drained and emotionally exhausted. And then I look out into the pasture and here are these kind gentle souls who bring so much love and joy into my life. They give without ties and love us unconditionally.Bless their souls for sharing their lives with us....and adding so much to our very existence.

I guess what I'm trying to say is....we will always be eternally grateful to Chance!! For bringing so much love, joy and happiness into our lives and the lives of his herd buddies.

We are all on a journey in this life together and we have the remarkable opportunity (Thanks to CHR) to share that journey with Chance now too. For one soul can not touch another without leaving it's mark.
